The quality of this app was so incredible, I felt is was worth the discussion. If you really cant get past the dissection at home hurdle when it comes to using a preserved specimen, try one of these suggestions instead: Online frog. As one beta tester remarked, cutting up digital frogs is much safer because 'then I don't have to dodge the scalpels of the kid behind me'. We teach Creation Science at our house, but I also expose my kids to other views and we discuss why we believe or do not believe certain ideas. The Digital Frog 2.5 engages students with an interactive, virtual dissection, allowing the student to learn each of the cuts necessary by doing it themselves - virtually. (Once you have purchased an app, it no longer tells you the cost.) I will have to say that it is a thorough study of frogs and constitutes a complete unit study. This app is one of the more expensive apps I have purchased. This section walks you step by step through the dissection process with very clear written and animated instructions. They identify both the internal and external parts of the frog. Part six is a 3D virtual frog dissection simulation.
