![]() It was easily the best WRC-branded game of them all, so admittedly, WRC 10 has a high bar to meet. I have a simcube 2 pro the heunksinveld sprints and a cube controls csx 2.I was wondering what game i should try because i just bought the heunksinveld handbrake and the fanatec shifter and obviously a new wheel more precisely the cube controls gt pro cube(obviously i didn’t buy that for rally only because i don’t have the money to buy such expensive things just for an experimental purpouse i bought it to race gt’s and nascars on iracing because i was already fammiliar with those as i raced them with what i already had but wasn’t feeling natural to race those cars with a open wheel setup) because the rally world really seems interesting to me as i played some wrc 8 on the controller at one of my friends and i wanted to transition to a wheel and really wondered which game is better. So which physics are better dr 2.0 overall iracing rx.Here reffering just on dirt and gravel as i know the dr 2.0 tarmac physics are not really good.We have a bit of experience in this area, as we reviewed WRC 9 in September 2020. Thanks a lot that you took your time writing all of this very helpfull buy i have a question. Are iracing rx physics better than dirt 2.0 ones overall because i am not new to the sim racing world actualy i am on iracing for 3 years now racing open wheelers and prototypes. The cars feel better, the physics are more refined, and the stages are higher quality, even if the game focuses on quality over quantity. Overall, I'd say DR2.0 takes the crown for realism (not factoring in RBR). Plus it's free, so you can still get DR2.0 or WRC 9 if you like. I'd argue that the physics are quite realistic, and it's definitely a good option to look at what RBR has to offer. Many pro rally drivers still play the updated versions of RBR just because the physics are better than anything that's come out recently. Can recommend, very good physics with the recent updates, and a shockingly long car and stage list. This game is old, but is free to download on rallysimfans.hu. ![]() The other option is RBR, or Richard Burns Rally. The career mode is better, that's for sure, as it's an actual career mode like the Codies F1 games, but you're looking for realism, so I guess the career mode wouldn't matter too much for you. The car selection is.there, but not the greatest. Tarmac physics are better, but not completely refined. WRC 8/9 (basically same game, just some very minor physics updates and new stages for 9) have a better stage selection and location pool than DR2.0, but the cars feel very light and not realistic. ![]() Some of the people doing them are absolutely mental, but it gives you a time to try and beat for a specific car and stage combo. Daily and weekly challenges are fun but challenging. The career mode options are a bit sketch, but once you figure out how to do the historic series and the Colin McRae scenarios the game feels like it has an actual purpose to beat it. This title will easily take the crown as most realistic, the physics are just better and the cars feel more real than the WRC series. On top of that, the cars just feel generally better and more refined across the entirety of the game. Each person has a different opinion, though, so take each commend with a grain of salt.ĭR2.0 has miles better FFB, at least for actual dirt, but lacks a little bit in tarmac physics and feel.
